Murf March

Depending on where you are from, you may or may not know what "murf" means.
Not to worry, I am here to clarify!

In Hawaii, murf is a slang term for someone who is buff, or at least appears to be so by lifting heavy things

There you go. Now, onto the goal of Murf March:

To provide some sort of routine for a daily strength building workout for me and anyone and everyone who wants to join!

At this point, you must be bursting with excitement and wonder on how you can get started.
Burst no longer!

Murf March: The Rules
  1. Listen to this pretty picture:

     2. Now repeat the entire routine 3 times a day (for a total of 9 reps)
     3. If walking up stairs and no one is around, run! (You'll get where you're going so much
         faster)

That's it! If you want to join me, please do. Then in April we can get together and compare murfness :)

Who Am I?

Some background:
I am currently a junior at Lawrence University. Several of my friends are seniors and will be leaving me next year...sigh. We decided that in order to most effectively keep each other updated on our lives, we needed to start blogs. So here I am.

This is me:
I'm not actually a hippie, it just appears that way

These are my beautiful roommates, two of which will be leaving in June :(
Lauren, Hailey, Me, and Sarah

Sometimes they wake me up from my afternoon naps to take pictures
This is Noble, he's a keeper for sure :)
Oh, how I miss summer
These are my parents, they are the best!

-A current student, future midwife
-A friend, girlfriend, daughter
-A hapa haole (half-filipino, half-caucasian)
